Our Stunning Start took place last week, kicking off our new topics for this term! 

Our topics this term are:
EYFS: The Enchanted Woodland - How will you go through the woods today?
Lower Primary: Up, Up, Up and Away! - How high can you fly?
 Upper Primary: Frozen Worlds - How will you get there?

Our Immersive Room was transformed into the Gruffalo’s den! Pupils were searching for the characters through the sensory trays – who do you think they found?

Our Courtyard at BD3 and Sensory Room at BD7 were transformed into a snowy wonderland, taking our pupils into the middle of our Upper Primary story ‘A Dot in the Snow’.

We explored our new story ‘Stuck’ by knocking away the objects stuck in our trees outside! There was even a duck stuck in our tree! 

A farm also popped up, as in Geography we are learning about the differences between cities and rural environments! We had an animal farm and vegetable farm, learning what vegetables we could plant on a vegetable farm! 

We were also making waterways as we’re learning about rivers this term! 

Our pupils at BD7 were also making kites as in art we will be making sculptures – and with our topic being ‘Up, Up, Up and Away’ we had to make sure our sculptures could fly!
