Summer Stunning Start! 

On Friday we had this terms Stunning Start! Our Stunning start kicks off our topics with a bang, and helps our teachers understand what we already know to plan for our next learning steps!

Our topics this term are:
 EYFS - Farm - What can we find on the farm?
 Lower Primary - Jungle - Is it cold in the jungle?
 Upper Primary - The African Plains - Does it rain on the African plain?

A selection of irresistible activities and experiences were set up across our BD3 & BD7 sites to engage and challenge all!

We all started the day with a whole school ‘wake up, shake up’, moving our bodies to keep healthy! This set our bodies up for an exciting day! 

We took a quick trip to Africa in our courtyard, and printed huge African fabric in our BD7 hall 

Our sensory rooms were turned into a deep Green jungle! Pupils had to spot jungle animals through the vines!  We also had a pop up farm in our Immersive suite, showing us the difference between jungles and farms!

2 huge cooking challenges took place also with pupils going head to head to create the best recipe! We are learning about healthy eating this term during our PSED lessons! Will the red team or green team win?
