Here at Co-op Academy Delius we strive to enrich our curriculum with a varied offer of opportunities

We have a bespoke experience programme here at Delius! ‘The Delius Experience’ programme creates a holistic educational journey that not only focuses on academic success but also nurtures personal growth, social development, and emotional well-being. Our pupils come from diverse backgrounds and have unique learning needs, making it essential that we have an inclusive, holistic programme that accommodates their individual needs while promoting life skills that contribute to their overall development.

The programme has a tiered approach to ensure all pupils get a variety of enrichment opportuntities throughout the year.

Pupils get the chance to access these enrichment session in a range of ways: 

• letters being sent home and parents requesting spaces
• children being identified for a specific reason identified in pupil progress meetings
• to enhance our offer for our Pupil Premium pupils. 

Our current enrichment opportunities include:

• Aromatherapy 
• Swimming
• Ballet lessons with Project Resurgence
• Cycle Confident - a programme designed alongside Summat Creative & The Special Olympics to teach pupils bike confidence
• Trips out of school
• Music Therapy
• After School Clubs

Our aim with these enrichment opportunities is to further enhance our fantastic curriculum and offer holistic experiences that take into account the cultural capital of our wonderful community and pupils.
